Two international deals has been signed by India’s largest Hospital chain to bring the expertise of Dubai and Bahrain.
Apollo Hospitals under the first deal have joined hands with DUBAI Health Authority (DHA) in the areas of Healthcare Technology.
Chairman, Apollo Hospitals, Prathap Reddy reportedly stated that such associations are the need of the hour considering the rapidly changing non-communicable disease burden that the world is trapped with.
Under its second international deal, Apollo is collaborating with Bahrain Specialist Hospital (BSH) in order to bring its cardiac related services to the residents of Bahrain and further fight heart diseases.
It will be in Bahrain Specialist Hospital wherein the hospital group will operate and manage the new Bahrain Specialist Hospital Apollo Heart Centre.
Apollo joint MD Sangita Reddy reportedly stated that it took about 2 years to negotiate for the heart centre. Identification of the gaps which Apollo could bridge was needed. She further added that a natural back-up for treatments such as transplant, cardiac surgery which needs better attention and care is allowed by the Indian Hospital group’s network.
Such collaborations give birth to new possibilities in the areas of Healthcare which is indeed an avoidable sector.
